EXHIBIT "A" in the Behrens & Hitchcock financial philosophy is this homemade hand washer. Works great, cost nearly nothing. Nice to have, but doesn't make the wine any better or worse, so why overspend on anything fancier?

 


AND WHAT THE HECK ARE THESE? Once upon a time they were dairy tanks – one was actually dug out of a pasture – but they went onto become B&H's first fermenters. 

 


SHINY IT AIN'T, but the grapes don't complain. Les Behrens crafted this homemade grape bin dumper out of scrap wood and such for something like $500 and Joe Bob Hitchcock couldn't be prouder of it.
